Today we lay to rest Benjamin Emile de St.Paer-Gotch, age 91.
He was a wonderful husband to Jean, father to Hugh and Carrie, father-in-law to
me and John and Grandpa to Ben, Penny and Lucy. He will be greatly missed.
And how I will always remember him, sitting in his armchair by the fire, feet up on the stool with Mum and the dog keeping him company. This photo was taken on his 90th birthday, two years ago.
