A Haiku

Over on gallo organico Rinda has set a challenge to create a haiku to go with a favourite photo. A haiku, if you don't know, is a three line poem. The first line has five syllables; the second line has seven syllables and the third line has five syllables. So, here is my photo and my first ever haiku!
Twenty one today
Still a little boy at heart
Big joy in my life

Have you had a go yet? Pop over to her blog and have a look and perhaps have a go yourself! Back soon with photos of the 21st. Off to the local shops at lunchtime to get some 21 birthday banners and helium balloons. Birthday is actually tomorrow, but 'tomorrow' had too many syllables!

Oh, I like this! I'm working on mine and I was just thinking what a good way it is to generate some journalling.

Happy Birthday to the birthday boy.

Love the haiku and the photo here, Becky! :o) I have my haiku written and ready to post tomorrow. Funny how much I fussed over it...counting syllables with my fingers and getting frustrated with not enough or one too many. LOL Have a great weekend! xo
