Celebrating Mum's Birthday

Tomorrow it is my Mum's birthday, so yesterday we all got together at my sister's house to celebrate.

We bought Mum a gardening stool which she can sit on whilst tending to her tubs (she has loads of them!) and it also has pockets which have gardening tools in. She was really pleased with it, but didn't spend the whole afternooon sitting on it!

Emily helped her to unwrap her presents and Olivia looked on. Emily was most insistent that Grandma opened her presents at lightening speed! Pippa cooked us a lovely Sunday dinner and we were all very full up afterwards. We were then treated to the premier of Olivia and Emily's 'film'. A week or so ago Del (their Dad) filmed them doing a play and it was absolutely brilliant. We laughed so much and the girls loved it that we enjoyed it so much.

I love this photo I took of Mum and Dad - Mum will probably hate me and say it isn't flattering, or something like that, but I really like it. To please Mum here is another one ...

Pippa, Mum and Me

Penny had made the birthday cake and carried it into the lounge very carefully. It was an accident that I managed to get Pippa and Del in the photo in the mirror! The only person missing was Ben as he is still down in Plymouth at uni. He did phone me on my mobile just before we left, so we put him on speaker phone and he was able to talk with everyone. Now I just need to get some of these photos printed and scrap them!
