I've finally used up all the bits from the January Gotta Craft kit. Actually I have a few very small scraps left, but will probably use them up on a card, but as you know, it takes me ages to make cards!
Both the layouts are from my and Hugh's visit to York back in November and our trip to the North Yorks Moors Railway and the National Railway Museum.
Excuse the poor light on this one - I took the photo one evening meaning to blog during the week and didn't get around to it! The bunting is cut from one of the sheets of paper - that took some time but was very therapeutic!
The border strip on the right was actually a frame, which I wasn't quite sure how to use, until I suddenly had the idea to cut it up! I am pleased with how it looks.
I am really pleased that I am now signed up to receive this kit monthly - not long until February's arrives now :)
You've made such a variety of pages with this kit,Becky....I've really enjoyed them all.
ReplyDeleteHurray for subbing! After seeing the fun you have had with January's, I'm looking forward to seeing what you make with Feb's
ReplyDeleteLove the red layout. And congrats on using up your kit. I'm actually off to scrap today! Yea!

I would never in a million years have come up with the clever idea of cutting the frame. I'm so impressed, and oh these are just fabulous
ReplyDeleteThe papers work really well with the subject of your photos. You won't regret subbing to the kits, Feb is full of lovely goodies!
ReplyDeleteLovely warm colours in this kit just suit your photos - I like that little row of circles on the left of the second one especially. it just pulls in the attention. Hope you enjoy the next kit as much!
ReplyDeleteThese are both wonderful, but I especially love the colors and patterns you chose for the first layout!
