Cardboard Mountain

We are recycling zealots in this house - or at least we try to be! We have containers to tidy everything away until collection day, apart from something to keep the cardboard in - and there's the rub. It gets piled on top of the freezer in the utility room to be taken out to the garage, but NO ONE does it until I moan about it or do it myself! It is supposed to be Hugh's job, but he seems to have carboard blindness and he goes out to the garage so often, walking past it each time.

So, here is an example of what my freezer so often looks like ...

Yes, you've guessed it, I got home today, having decided to blog about the cardboard mountain that I left on the freezer this morning to find that Hugh had tidied it all away! Oh well, you can't win them all!

Why is it that men can walk past a pile of recycling and not see it? I have the same problem and usually end up taking it out myself.

So funny, maybe he is a mind reader and knew you were going to blog about this? :)
