This time last year ...

Penny took the courageous decision to leave college and find work. Ben was in his second year at university and living away from home in Plymouth. Hugh had just started his new job. I was 11 months into my new job, but with the recession, did not have a huge amount to do, although we all dressed up and took part in Children in Need.

This year, Penny is out working very hard at Iceland and Garbetts, whilst waiting to hear if she has got into Farleigh College. She has started an OU degree in psychology and is getting brilliant grades. Ben is in his 3rd year of uni, but is back at home as he is doing a year in industry, working at GSK and thoroughly enjoying it. Hugh has just celebrated the first anniversary of his new job and is doing really well. I am extremely busy at work recruiting for the call centre. We have taken on 12 sales consultants and need to recruit another 15! We are also in the middle of moving to new premises, so no time at all to be bored. Friday is Children in Need  and yes, we are dressing up again. I won't spoil the surprise by telling you what we are dressing up as this year - have a look on Friday to see!
