Week 47, Scrap Like You Mean It

The journalling on this layout reads:

'We bought a tree for the house. It was too big, so Hugh chopped the bottom off - then there was not enough tree left to decorate! So, we decided to put it in the garden and decorate it for the birds with nuts - hence 'birdy nut tree'! Ben really enjoyed doing this for the birds. We did get another tree for indoors!'

I am up to date with this challenge, which means I have completed 47 layouts this year! In fact, I have completed far more as I have done a massive album from our Orlando holiday too, plus a few other layouts including Penny's 18th birthday. Can't believe I have done that much scrapping! I do find it relaxing though and like to make the time to do at least two layouts a week (normally more though!).

That's a lot of layouts. You put me to shame! I love the story of the tree. We had a similar experience once, but we weren't so creative about the stumpy tree.
