This is the beautiful view I have when sitting at my desk at work (6th floor of a building in Brentwood, Essex ). I have been able to watch the seasons change for the past two years I have worked here. I have seen the birds building nests, the leaves growing on the trees and then changing colours and falling. I have been able to watch the bad weather being blown in from London and see the sun following on behind. When there has been a heavy frost, the fields look stunning.
I say all of this with a heavy heart as on 12th December the company is moving premises - slap, bang to the middle of an industrial estate. Not only that, but I will be on the ground floor and my view will be of cars and lorries zooming past! A very different view to look forward to!

That is a lovely view. How sad that you will soon lose it, but how lovely that you've had it for two years. I wish you a better view than traffic in the New Year!
You could always buy one of those roller blinds with a picture of a sunny beach or poppy fields...
I can feel your pain !
