We Will Rock You!

So, what do you give the Mum who wants nothing for her birthday! Well, Pippa and I decided to take her to see We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre as she loves Queen and has said before that she would like to see the show. After swimming 56 lengths on Saturday morning (urg!) I drove to Hemel and then Mum, Pippa and I got the train up to Euston and then tube to the theatre - none of us realised that the theatre was so close to tube! You literally come out of the station and there it is! We went into Garfunkels first and had a wonderful dinner - the staff were lovely and obliging and took a photo of the three of us:

We then walked next door to the theatre and had the most wonderful three hours. The show is absolutely magnificent and if you haven't seen it you must!

I finally got home at 8pm on Saturday and then at midday on Sunday had all the family over for a birthday roast dinner for Mum! Penny had made her a wonderful honey cake - which is to die for! They finally all left at about 4pm and then I collapsed, but I had the most wonderful weekend and it was lovely to spend the day on Saturday just with my Mum and my Sister - we hadn't done that for about 14 years!
