Hamster face

Sorry for the lapse in posting - I have had a very nasty infection and developed an abscess on my gum which caused my face to swell up like a balloon! My lovely children thought I looked like a 'Who'as my top lip swelled and my cheek puffed out! Or I looked like a hamster with full cheek pouches!

Anyway, after a trip to the dentist, a trip to casualty and two hefty courses of antibiotics I am now well on the road to recovery and back at work. I have got a photo of my poorly swollen face (Penny took it for me!) which I may scrap at some point, but I won't post it here as I was not a pretty sight!

Off to the Scrapping Angels Retreat this weekend. It was postponed as Anna got caught up in the volcanc ash saga and was stuck on Orlando when it should have run. I am really looking forward to it. My weekend will start tomorrow night though as Hugh is meeting me at a Premier Inn near where the retreat is being held and we are having a meal out together and spending a lovely evening just the two of us. He will then go home on Saturday morning and I will head off to meet up with everyone for two whole days of scrapping! Hugh can sort out the mess that the house will be in having been left in the hands of Ben!!



I will be back next week to show you some of the wonderful projects I will have completed over the weekend. Off to pack up the car now :)
