Well, here I am back again. Many thanks for your messages, they did cheer me up. Very briefly, Penny is back at home as things did not go well for her at the college. It was completely the wrong place for her - why they thought she needed such restricted care when they had met her I do not know, but in time I hope she will see that it was their mistake and nothing to do with her and her intelligence and abilities. We are now looking at ways of going forward with her and helping her achieve her full potential in life. At the moment, that means a lot of baking as she thoroughly enjoys doing that when she is stressed or down to help cheer herself up. That has meant that I have had to eat a lot of cupcakes in the last couple of weeks - well it would have been rude not to! We have now decided that she can continue to bake, but must give them to neighbours or I will take them into work for my colleagues there!
I haven't done much crafting lately, but one thing I did have to get done was this:
My boss will have been married 40 years on Halloween and is going to New York followed by Florida - she will be away for a month, lucky thing! She asked me if I would do her a page that she could frame and give to her husband instead of a card, using photos from their marriage. This isn't a brilliant photo as I forgot to take the picture before I put it into the frame, so there is some reflection, but I am pleased to say that she was thrilled with it. I have to say that I was pleased with the way it turned out too! I had had the photos sitting on my desk for about 6 weeks and just hadn't known where to start and then last weekend I was suddenly inspired!
Anyway, I am now back on track and looking forward to going out tomorrow to meet my bestest friend Julie for a cup of peppermint tea and a toasted tea cake - our monthly treat! She has had a pretty tough time too recently, so I will go and be supportive to her and put my troubles behind me.
I must also mention that as well as your lovely comments I had such a wonderful email from my aunty that it nearly made me and Penny cry! She was extremely supportive and it was so lovely to receive that tonight - thank you Peta :)

I'm very sorry to hear things didn't work out for Penny and I'm thinking about you both.
Your ruby wedding page is a wonderful gift, I love it.
Sorry to hear of the bump in the road for your Penny. This could be a blessing in disguise.
The wedding page you created is fabulous, Becky!!! A true keepsake indeed.
