A bit late, but..

Merry Christmas! I hope that you all had a wonderful day yesterday. I had the best Christmas day that I have experienced in years. Ben and Penny got on together and the whole days was really relaxed.

We were all up and dressed by 9.30am and had breakfast together, followed by present opening.
As the turkey was in the oven and all the veg had been prepared by my wonderful husband (when I had been at work on Christmas Eve) I then had my Christmas Day snowball!

This was followed by my and Hugh's traditional dance around the kitchen to the Christmas CD.
Even though I say it myself, we had the most delish roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, including Yorkshire puddings, which I know some people say shouldn't make an appearance, but we love them so have them!

We had managed to get hold of Wii Rock Band and the instruments (good old ebay!) and had great fun playing with this for a couple of hours in the afternoon:
before we went to our local park for a breath of fresh air and to walk down all of that dinner!
Do you like Ben's hat? Father Christmas put it in his stocking for him!

Now it is Boxing Day and we are taking it easy. I am writing this blog post and scrapbooking, and we are looking forward to seeing Ben's girlfriend Rachel this afternoon and hoping that our traditional visit from Father Christmas on Boxing Day will happen this afternoon!
