A couple of layouts from last weekend

First off my take from Shimelle's sketch of 16th February:

Next a layout from our short break in Cornwall back in those lovely warm days of summer!
I have had these papers for a couple of years now - I bought a load of them at the Scrapping Angels retreat I went to in 2009 from the 3 Jolly Scrappers who had a shop there.
So I also managed to use the papers for this layout!

With this layout I used a badge that Hugh had on a birthday card from Ben a couple of years ago - it had been sitting in my stash for a while and seemed appropriate for this layout.

Well, that's it for today folks! I also managed to create a mini book for Hugh - but I still need to photograph it, so that's for another day!

Today has been our deep clean day. We do a 'rough' clean downstairs once fortnight, and then once a month we do it thoroughly. I hate cleaning, but I do like it when we have finished! The weather here has been awful - pouring with rain all day. However, I realised that the forsythia is out in the garden and so spring is finally here!
This photo was taken on my Iphone with the Instagram application, so it isn't the world's best photo, but it is fun using this app!

Back soon with some photos of Hugh's mini book and also the three layouts I have completed today (and no, I don't know where I found the time to do them, but so glad I did).

I am SO impressed with all you've accomplished (great pages) and so jealous of the forsythia. It will be at least two more months before ours blooms. I am so tired of winter! It rained all day and we still have over six feet of snow at the end of our driveway. Sigh.
