Beyond Blogging

Well, I am taking this class, but I don't know how much I will be able to 'play along' as the prompts are set! I have a few posts already lined up to be published over the next few days (I tend to write them over the weekend when I have the spare time!), but when time allows I think I will try and do some or all of the prompts, so look out for more posts from me!

So, why did I start up this blog? Initially it was just to 'have a go' as I like 'playing' with the computer and wanted to see if I could set up a blog. Of course I had no readers as I hadn't told anyone that I was blogging! Well, Penny read it lol! My blog then languished on the blogosphere until Shimelle's first class when I really began to think about what I wanted from it and what I wanted to share.

My main reason now for blogging seems to be as a diary for myself and to share my scrapbooking and photography, and in the last couple of weeks my miniature creations! I have several followers who I gained from the first blogging class and I love to receive comments from them. Some have become good 'blog friends' and I visit their pages on a regular basis too - see my list over on the right.

If you are a regular reader, or a new reader to my blog (welcome!) what is it that interests you about it? I would appreciate it if you could spare a couple of minutes to let me know. And please be honest - I know that a couple of blogs that I visit it is purely because I love to read about what those people are doing in their lives!

So, do you visit to look at my scrapbooking, photography or just to see what I am up to? I would have done a quick survey, but I am doing this at work and haven't got the time, so please leave a comment below!

Hi Becky ~ Being a blogger of variety myself, I think that's what I like about your blog. Also, it's so fun to see photos of your walks and to be able to see your terrain that is so different from my own. And lately, I'm loving that you are sharing your miniature works!!! Keep on blogging! xo

I visit mostly to see what you're doing - I think of you as a blog friend. But I also appreciate all the scrapping you do. There's not that many blogs in my reader that regularly post real layouts of real people, and yours does.

Thank you so much everyone for your lovely comments. I will continue to post a variety of articles as that seems to be what you all like! I've got a few more miniatures to show you and have been busy on the scrapbooking front again! Next month we are off to Northumberland so I should have some good photos and stories to share from there. Thank you my blog friends :)

Hi, I'm actually a new follower because of BBFS, but it will probably be the scrapbooking.

I'm an old hand at your blog due to Scrapology. I'm also following the blogging class. Will check that I'm a follower. Great blog.
