A huge thank you

Oh my gosh. So many lovely comments yesterday. I do hope that I managed to visit your blog and look at your photos too - I tried to keep up and look at as many other 'My day in photos' pages as I could! It was so lovely to peek into many other lives and see what my friends, new and old, get up to in blog land (when they are not blogging!).

This has given me an idea. As I read the comments on my blog, and others, I realised that what many people liked was to see the area/town/shops/countryside around where our blog friends live. So, over the next few weeks I will be taking my camera with me and taking photos of my town, the shops, the park and so on and I will do a post in a few weeks time to share the little area of England where I live.

In the meantime, here is a photo of a much smaller part of England where my Mum lives. We all got together on Easter Sunday and for the first time in ages were able to take a family photograph. So, here is the photo taken in my Mum's back garden (she is a fantastic gardener by the way!).

Back row: Brother-in-law, nephew, Penny, Ben, Hugh; Middle row: sister, Dad, Mum, Me; Front row: nieces!

A lovely idea and a lovely family photo. It's so good when everyone can get together.
One for scrapping sometime?!

You have got me wishing that I had lined everybody up for a family shot on Sunday too. Why on earth didn't I think of it?! It's a lovely keepsake.

Wonderful picture. Love your idea. When I was taking pictures the other day I thought I need to take some of our town and make a layout of it.
