Phew!

What a week this has been! Having arrived back from holiday on Friday, spending most of Saturday doing washing, I then woke on Sunday with the headache to end all headaches and spent the day in bed and ended up at the doctor's on Monday who diagnosed sinusitus. Having been dosed up, I finally managed to return to work on Tuesday, where of course, there was loads for me to catch up on! Tuesday evening was also my crop night (or 'Coven night' as we call it!) and so by bedtime on Tuesday I was exhausted and ready for a holiday!

However, I did manage to make a start on a mini book on Tuesday evening for my sister's birthday, using the photos I took at the Take That concert. As it was her birthday today I then had to get a move on and finish it this week! So, here it is:

I can report that she was thrilled with it and showed it to all the family who were at my Mum's this afternoon for the birthday lunch for Pippa and my Dad. Thank you Mum for all your hard work - we had a wonderful time!

Thank you all for your lovely comments about my miniatures. I don't think I will be making any more in the near future, although I still have a few bits and pieces and never say never! If I were to make one, it would have to be to give away as I have no room  to store another one here! That or we would have to move house lol! I am having a think about something else to do a regular post about on a Monday, as I enjoyed doing those Monday Miniature posts. I like Carrie's Five Favourites and also Deb's 'Just a quote for Friday'. I will have to put my thinking cap on, but in the meantime I will continue to post pages as and when I complete them and also photos. I am way, way behind with Shimelle's class - as in I haven't even started it yet! I have printed off all the prompts, but can't quite decide now when to start it. There are only about 4 weeks until September and I will probably do Learn Something New again (it will be my third year) so I may save the new class to do in October when I will have some free time! At the moment I am busy scrapping some of the many photos that are sitting on my desk! Last night I did another layout for me with the Take That photos - I will take a photo of it tomorrow and share it with you. I was going to scrap tonight, but by the time I got back from Hemel, took the washing off the line, fed the cats and put away everything we had brought back with us I decided to just blog instead!

Anyway, I have rambled enough. I hope you are all having a nice weekend and I will try and visit your blogs over the next few days. Thanks for visiting!

What a cute album. I'd forgotten all about Learn Something New. . . but I'll have to start thinking about it soon.

Oer, what a way to finish off your holiday! I hope you are feeling a lot better - and I say this with real feeling being a headache sufferer too x
