A Scraplift

With the demise of Scrapbook Inspirations I started getting Scrapbooks Etc which my local WHSmiths gets in for me. In the August 2011 issue there was a great layout by Valerie Salmon which I couldn't resist scraplifting.
I will be using this as my introductory page for my Cyprus holiday album. It shows all the wildlife we encountered whilst we were there - well, nearly all as we didn't get a photo of the whip snake!
We have been extremely busy this weekend celebrating Ben's birthday and then doing the first move of furniture into his new flat, so I haven't done any more layouts and don't think I will have time for many in the coming week unfortunately! However, I do hope to share with you the video of Ben shooting the Angry Birds at his cake and also some birthday photos. Wishing you a happy and productive week.

It looks great. Love the beads on it. If I saw a snake I wouldn't be hanging around to get a picture of it. :) Ok, you've got me wondering - shooting the birds?

This is a great page that showcases your lovely photos - I like the addition of the bright flower. Snake photo? I'm not sure I'd want to be reminded!

And a happy week right back to you :)

That little row of jewels leading the eye through the page is really effective. It's a lovely touch

I'm a huge fan of grid layouts, and this one is great!
