Liver and bacon and a bit of JYC!

Well, actually, there are no photos of the absolutely delicious liver and bacon that my Mum had cooked yesterday! I fully intended to take a photo of it to share it with you on my blog, but totally forgot until the end of the meal when I looked down at my scraped clean plate and exclaimed 'oh bother, I forgot to photograph that!'. I then promptly had seconds and forgot again! It was that delicious that I had a one track mind to just eat it! So, thank you Mum for a delicious lunch and I am looking forward to Christmas dinner with you soon :)

Today has been very busy with jobs that didn't get done yesterday and going out to collect the tiles that we had ordered for our downstairs cloakroom which is being refurbished in a couple of weeks time and also ordering a carpet for Penny's bedroom.

I have spent this evening preparing some pages for JYC and have now got 10 done. I am having fun using a pearl paint dabber which I bought at Ally Pally - it looks a lot better in real life than I think it does in the photo below!
These are the two pocket pages I did yesterday and they are shameless copies of the ones that Shimelle has on her blog! I really like how she did them and so apart from a bit of extra paint dabber and different coloured card they are copies! I haven't got any more photos to share as the pages I did this evening I now won't be able to photograph in 'proper' light until next weekend. I do hate this time of year and working full time! It makes blogging so difficult. I must remember to try and take loads of photos at the weekend to be able to do a couple of posts during the week.

Back to work tomorrow and a check up with the neurologist for my migraines in the afternoon. A week of work and then a week off! We will be decorating Penny's bedroom, but Hugh and I will also be having a little time off too, so that will be nice (and plenty of daylight for taking photos!).

Off to have a catch up of my favourite blogs now. Hope you have had a nice weekend.

These look lovely - and I am looking forward to seeing how they get used in the month ahead. Hoping you enjoy your time 'off' and the neurologist comes up with something helpful ...

JYC 2011 is looking good. I think it's wonderful when you enjoy a meal or moment so much you forget to photograph it. Hope the neurologist has some answers.

Now that's a shame lol - not that I blame you: I would have scoffed the lot too!

They look really neat. Hope the neurologist is able to help ease the pain of those things or even better reduce the number of them.

I have my papers chosen, but I always have a hard time putting the pages together before the fact. I did it successfully last year, but I think it's going to be a page-by-page event this year. I hope the doctor is able to find some help for the migraines. I know they can be debilitating. Enjoy your time off!
