So, here we are, the 7th January and I have finished my album for this year. Without any more ado, here are my last pages.
So, there it is. My JYC for 2011. I have really enjoyed doing it again. I thought that I might be getting bored with it, but although some things stay the same each year, there is always something new to journal about. Will I do it for Christmas 2012? Probably, but I if I do then I will finish it on the 1st of January. The final few days I found really hard to complete - I could think of nothing new to journal relating to Shimelle's prompts and as I was back at work there was nothing much to journal about that was exciting!
Just before I sign off on this closing prompt, here is a look at my completed album.
This is the inside of the back cover. The big bauble was printed onto a gift bag I received at Christmas - there were lots of them and they have all been cut out now and put into my Christmas stash to use on my layouts! (Not all of them say Christmas 2011!)
Another of the baubles off the bag, a decoration off one of our Christmas crackers, a ribbon rescued from some packaging and the little glass baubles on the ribbon are also off the crackers!
So, it just leaves me to say to JYC 2011

Oh, Becky, I love the way your Christmas journal turned out. Congratulations on completing it as I am sure that's a great feeling. I LOVE the page with the voice bubbles of the three of you saying what you loved about this Christmas. xo!
What a fine job you have made of completing your journal - one of the things I really like about this one is the variety of photo sizes you have used. Makes for very interesting viewing!
This looks wonderful - you have really worked hard to finish this, when others are only just starting! I like the "didn't we do well' page in particular. :)
Atta girl, Becky. Nice job on completing your journal - it looks like you had a festive season.
It's turned out wonderfully,Becky....love how you've added the page for letters....great idea.
Congrats on finishing your journal. It's just lovely and such a good way to record your holiday! This is my sixth year, and like you, I am still enjoying the process.
Thanks for sharing your album. I have loved looking at your pages. They are lovely and I love the way you have used the speech bubbles.
