I loved the article in Scrap 365 of the mini book made with money envelopes
So, I dug out my 'Going Places' Cricut cartridge and made some envelopes. I then used the 'George' cartridge to cut out some tags and dug into my stash to make my own mini book! The only thing I had to buy was the stamp for using on the back of the tag.
This shows the book from the end with the tags all pointing out!
Inside the front cover and the first envelope. I followed along the same ideas as the magazine and used a circle punch and my butterfly punch to use as embellishment all the way through.
I cut out a shape on the patterned paper for the back of each envelope so that the pattern I had made using a stamp and Versamark would show through. On some I used the butterfly punch, on others, a flower.
This is the front of the tag. I had some Tim Holtz 'hole protectors' which I used on the front and back of each tag. I used one of my edge punchers on the bottom edge of each tag.
This shows the back of the tag with the stamped journalling space and the journalling for my first tag. I won't bore you with all of them, but in total I did 8 envelopes and tags.

I really enjoyed making this mini book. I had said 'no more mini books' as I have run out of space to store them! But, I just couldn't resist with this one!

This is just perfect! I love the way you've made the envelopes and slipped the tags in like that: are you working retrospectively, or is this in preparation for this coming caravan season?

Oh my gosh, Becky, I LOVE this!!! You know I'm a fan of mini's anyway, and this one is just fabulous. I have those same cartridges, and it's always fun to see how someone else puts them to use. Thanks for the inspiration!
