Layouts to share

Here are the other layouts I managed to make for my USA album over the past beautiful weekend.
First off I there is this double page layout using Shimelle's idea for 6x4 photo love for November, which actually incorporates 11 photos. There is the double page and also a 6x4 page protector in the middle. Here is a closer look at the double layout without the insert.
And here are both sides of the insert

I then did a page using some paper I bought in Vegas, which had the Golden Gate Bridge on. I struggled with this for a while because it was so busy before even putting photos on, but I was pleased with the result - have to admit, Hugh helped me with the design on this one!
I then did a layout using one of Shimelle's layouts as an inspiration again - this time from Glitter Girl Adventure 24
The Loris Diner was actually a napkin which I had brought home with me - it wasn't really right on the layout so I scanned it in and then I felt it was perfect, once I had added some red glitter glue to the letters! As you have probably notice, following Shimelle's advice in her recent class, Cover to Cover, I have chosen one main colour for each of my layouts (kraft) to tie everything together and on every page there will be a little camera. This will hopefully give the album some continuity.

You are a fast worker! It's inspiring to watch you get all those holiday memories scrapbooked while they are fresh in your head. I need to keep going with mine now..

I love the way you have used that napkin - it really moves that lovely page to the next level

Great use of the GG Bridge paper. Sometimes prints like that are difficult.

You did a great job using that bridge paper. I liked that idea of Shimelle's and have decided I'll be doing that too when I finally get to working on any of our vacation albums. :)
