Meet Coffee (on the right) and Walnut (on the left)! We lost one of our chickens last year to old age and the other died just before we went on holiday. We decided that we couldn't live without chickens in the garden - we love the contented sound they make as they peck around their enclosure. So yesterday we collected these lovely girls. They should start laying in about 4 weeks time - will let you know when they do!

Oh WOW! I don't know ANYTHING about chickens...but they certainly look the part!
