Scrap365 sketch challenge

I haven't played along with this before, but I really liked this sketch and decided to use it to scrap another photo from the Isle of Wight - not a Christmas photo as it might suggest with its hanging baubles!

Here is my take on it:
I had great fun creating this. The largest butterfly is actually the photo that Penny was taking - I cut around it and then stuck it onto the page, with a pop dot under the top wing to give it some 'lift'. I grabbed some punchinella that I saw in my desk and used it as a mask and I am really pleased with the result. The little tree had been in my drawer for ages and so I was pleased to use that - I embossed it with some Distress Embossing Powder. The butterfly washi tape was a wonderful find in Paperchase!

I love the butterflies in the top corner - such a neat idea as a change from Christmas decorations. Your tape is a perfect addition. Great interpretation - might give this sketch a go myself. :)

Gorgeous. Love your take on the baubles! I struggled to do a christmassy LO so had to find an alternative.
