Eat, drink, dance and laugh

For this layout I used Shimelle's Sketch to scrapbook page number 9 and the same papers as her! My lettering and stickers are slightly different though. This was a very quick and easy page to put together and I was quite pleased with the result, although I am not sure about journalling onto patterned paper. I think I prefer journalling onto plain paper or journalling cards.

A close up of the journalling and the stickers I used.

Christmas seems such a long time ago now! Roll on the summer though. As I write this the forecast is for a good week of weather coming up, so let's all keep our fingers crossed!

A fun layout Becky. Our weather is still showing highs of only 9 or 10 for next week - hopefully it'll pick up soon :) x

Our forecast is for temps as high as 14 degrees but accompanied by showers :(

I'm hopeful for warmer weather too. Christmas does seem a long way away - but then I just managed to play with a Christmas present so was feeling a bit more Christmassy yesterday.

Love the colors of this layout. They are such a nice complement to the photos. I just checked our weather for the next five days and was delighted to see some much warmer ones---though they do look like a roller coaster--up and down each day, but all in the 50's or better. A big improvement from this week which was rainy and cold.

Oh trust me my fingers are crossed ... I need spring lol. Great page and I'm impressed you tried journalling on patterned paper, it works here though :)

It looks like a fun page Becky. I'm with you on thinking I prefer journaling on plain paper or journaling cards. The weather here is still up & down but I see the daffodils have bloomed today (finally!). We're definitely getting the April showers - although I'd call them downpours. :)
