Flower Fun

This is actually a page I included in my Photo Freedom pages, but I forgot to photograph it! I used Crate Papers The Pier collection, including their frames and bits from the ephemera pack.
In the ephemera pack there were some layered embellishments which I really liked. However, I didn't use them for this layout, but used them to scraplift as it were! I made the embellishment below copying the layers but using papers from the pack. I am pleased with how it turned out and will do more of these.
I love these frames. I used this one to create an embelislhment cluster along the lines of the polaroid embellishments Miss Smith made.
This weekend I am looking forward to seeing my Mum and Dad.They are coming down for lunch today and we are going into Wickford to our local Italian restaurant for a meal to celebrate my birthday early. Unfortunately Ben won't be able to join us, but it will be lovely to see Mum and Dad again. Then tomorrow Penny and I are meeting up with my friend Wendy (as long as it isn't pouring with rain) to go to Papermill Lock near Danbury for a walk to take photographs of nature and such like! We will hopefully have some sort of cream tea too! A nice weekend to look forward to. What are you up to?

Spending time with family is the best! I went on two "shoot the moon" photo shoots and worked on two mission projects this weekend. Hopefully I got a couple of photos worth sharing.

I do like what you have done with that paper - and your little blue flower is lovely. Hoping all the family activities were fun too.
