Weekly Walking - 27th January

So here we are, Monday again, and an update on my walking.
This weekend was fairly busy. Saturday was spent doing jobs around the house and garden. Hugh took my car and got it cleaned - looked lovely for all of 12 hours before the heavens opened again and we drove it to Canterbury! Sunday saw us taking Penny back to Canterbury as the trains were all up the creek with engineering works. We gave her a hand to clean and tidy the flat up a bit and I went to Asda with her to help her do a food shop - so much easier when you have a car to transport it all back home. She really appreciated our help as she has a stinking cold at the moment. Ben is currently in Munich with Microsoft completing his 2 year graduate training course with them. I do hope he remembered to take a coat as it is much colder over there than it is here!

So that was our weekend - it went far too quickly. Can't believe that next weekend will be the beginning of February. Have you anything to look forward to this week? Unfortunately I haven't! Nothing except some relaxing evenings in front of the television or reading a book, which actually doesn't sound all that bad!

Great job keeping up with the walking Becky! I'm looking forward to a quiet week at home, catching up on some chores, maybe a little scrapbooking, and some reading, too.

Well done at walking, definitely a good thing to have a car for shopping. A quiet week sounds really good here.

Many congrats on your steadfastness with the walking - and hoping the benefits continue to accrue. Oh, a quiet evening with time and space to do your own things sounds blissful ...
