A double page layout

I don't often do a double page layout, but inspired by Shimelle's class, Return to the Collection, and the fact that Ben and I both got a new car within a fortnight of each other, I came up with this.
The idea in Shimelle's class is if you haven't got two sheets of the same paper to use as background papers, that you carry one over as a small box onto the second page.
I had a full page of this geotag paper and then a small box left over from making another page, so it seemed the perfect fit!
Only I had them going in different directions! Oh well, Hugh didn't notice, so unless you are a scrapbooker I don't think it is too bad a mistake!
I actually really enjoyed making this double page spread and will have to do some more in the future!

Lovely pages....Shimelle's class really inspired me to try double pages.

Don't think the geotags going in different directions is a mistake - think it goes better that direction on the RH page.

I started off making double page spreads as I wanted the album to flow, even if it was two singles I tried to make them coordinate.

Interesting I usually do 2 page instead of singles. Love the results and Ben's car looks very sporty! Hope the move has gone easily.

I love the way you centered the photos across the two pages! Before I started Project Life, I'd guess 30-40% of my pages were two-page layouts.

I'm hopeless at two pagers, so it's always a treat for me to see a great one! and that little racing car? I like that!

I often make a double page spread, mainly because I like to include as many photos as possible. I really like the look of yours and I'm a fan of recording all those small details in our lives.

Oh, who said they had to be facing the same way? The papers look great like this :). Your design really shows off those photos!
