The journalling in close up.
I enjoyed digging through my buttons to use on this layout. They are something I need to use more of - I have a huge collection!
What do you need to use more often? Do you have a huge collection of anything? (Sssh! I also have FAR too many rolls of washi tape!)

The layout looks great. I can't wait till we go there! As for a huge collection I'd say cardstock & embellishments of any sort - I don't think I'll ever be able to use them all.
I love that striking blue button you've used as a contrast. That face is haunting isn't it? Something about it almost dares me to look at it again and again
Lovely layout - I always struggle putting a landscape and a portrait photo together. Like how you have used the buttons for embellishments - I have a huge stash of buttons, brads and ribbons and really must use them more. At least I have stopped buying them now (apart from the ribbons - I can never resist having nice new pretty ribbons to stroke!!)
Fabulous layout - I especially like your embellishment clusters. That is an amazing fireplace & in such good condition to be so old!
Shhhh . . . I might have more rolls of washi tape than is really necessary for one scrapper! :>)
Great photos! And wonderful layout.

It is a perfect sketch for two photos with different perspectives. I, too, need to find some creative uses for Washi tape!
I have way to much off all scrapping stash lol. Buttons, washi, flowers, ribbons, enamel dots, flails, frames, .... Etc etc lol
I'm really loving how you write directly onto your layouts, you've made me want to do this too :)
That is indeed an extraordinary fireplace and face .. Your photos and page really highlight their uniqueness - you've used the designs to great effect, and the blue button is a super contrast. Me? I have an abundance of brads - every colour under the sun!
Great LO Becky! I always struggle with 1 horizontal and 1 portrait photo too!
