Birthday layout

This is a post I wrote about 6 weeks ago and forgot to post, so it is a good one to fill the gap!

I do hope that you are not offended! Penny made Hugh a rather rude birthday cake last year! And of course I had to scrapbook it!

The hearts along the bottom came about because I tipped them all out of the bag of ephemera and was looking for some in yellow and red. I spread them along the bottom of the layout to look at the colours and decided I actually quite liked them there and so stuck them down!
This was another layout made at my scrapbooking evening. I did do a couple during my week off, but things got a bit hectic over that week, so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked! Oh well, that's life!

What can I say? It certainly deserves to be recorded!

All life deserves a little place somewhere! And your hearts-drop was most serendipitious - I must remember this next time I start to agonise about where to put something on a page.

The hearts look perfect.

What a fun cake, and rightly so it should be scrapped ... And what a great page

Several card makers have said that the best way to figure out where to place sequins on a card is just to toss them down and see where they land. It works more often that not---much like your lovely heart border.

The heart border is lovely and the cake isn't that rude honest ;)

It doesn't look all that rude! Looks like Hugh really enjoyed it. Love how the hearts worked out.
