Did you join in?

With National Scrapbook Day, that is! I have not done so in the past, but this year, with it being a Bank Holiday weekend and not having huge amounts of jobs to do, I DID join in!

The Facebook Group I belong to, For the Love of Pretty Paper (UK), ran six challenges to be completed by the 10th of May, so even if you didn't have time to complete them over the weekend there is still time to finish them now!

I managed to complete 5 out of the 6.

Challenge #1 - make a layout with 3 or more photos and use new stash (I used two new tab and label punches).

Challenge #2 - a sketch challenge

Challenge #3 - make your own PL style cards

Challenge #4 - a scraplift

Challenge #5 - scrap about work. This is the one I haven't done. I am not very happy at work at the moment, so didn't really want to dwell on it and do a layout about it1

Challenge #6 - scrap about 'friends'. And I cannot show you this layout as it is one I have done with one of my five fave photos from April! You will have to wait until later in the month to see this one!

Did you join in this weekend? Did you have fun? I certainly did. We were all posting our layouts in the Facebook group and chatting and it was definitely something I will do again.

There was no time for scrapping here this weekend..though at least I now have some new photos.

But you have certainly made the most of NSD! At a time when lots of scrappers seem to be moving on to other things, your enthusiasm continues to inspire me

Oh you were quite cleverly crafty I see. I didn't play with paper, but did make the rounds on the Internet to see what was happening. Have a great week.

I didn't lift a single scrap of paper on Saturday, sadly.

I didn't join in any challenges . . . but I cropped all day here with Mama and a friend. I made 12 pages for the firefighter retirement album I'm working on and 3 layouts for myself based on INSPIRATION from previous classes. I did participate in a chat at BPC, Facetime with a friend from Austin, Skype with a friend from Houston, and take a "field trip" to Hobby Lobby!

Your layouts are great & make me want to have a mug of Butterbeer!! :)

Sadly I had too much post holiday stuff to attend to....but you'll be pleased to know that I used the lovely travel journal that you sent me while on holiday.

You did really well with the challenges! I only managed 2 1/2 so far. I agree about the butter beer - it was an acquired taste! You've made some lovely pages x

You've done really well - some lovely layouts there and I love your PL cards. I managed 3 layouts so far and hopefully will have time to do one more before the weekend

That's quite a total! Those PL cards look as if they will be very useful, and well done on making it down that scary open staircase. I am afraid I spen 8 hours of National Scrapbooking day in A and E with my Dad!

They're all great pages Becky. Love seeing the Harry Potter pages, as I'd love to do the tour again. Thanks for doing my challenge, that staircase certainly looks scary.

Well done on getting so much done - NSD was not going to happen the first weekend in May, was busy at YM instead. So I've moved it to the last weekend in May and plan on scrapping then instead

I particularly like that second one. Sorry to hear about work but glad you've moved on. Didn't do anything I think (can't remember) for NSD, it was just too close to the surgery.
