Phew! Finally got around to doing some scrapping and managed to complete my five faves from July.
So here we go!
|
Love this photo I took on my phone of my Mum relaxing by the pool on holiday |
|
Although Mum was exhausted in this photo and her hip was really bad, I love how happy she and Dad look whilst they wait for Hugh to bring the car to collect them. |
|
This one wasn't taken on holiday, but I have journaled about what a different summer I have had this year, what with quitting my job, going to college, having more free time whilst I was at college to enjoy the sunshine and then getting my new job. |
|
This photo I just love as it sums Penny (and our family actually) up! We do try to find time to have fun and be ridiculous when we can. |
|
And my last one, again of my Mum, this time documenting about how her hip problems stopped her from really enjoying the pool, but that she did manage to get into it for a float a couple of times. |

The idea to scrap your 5 favourite photos each month was the brainchild of Jo, over at
BuckinghamsPalace. Do hop on over to her blog to see how she has scrapped her five favourite photos from July. I will be back again soon to share my five favourite photos from August.

I love this idea of scrapping your five favourites. I especially like that layout of you with your ice-cream.
That photo of you and the ice cream makes me smile every time I've seen it - such a lovely smile :)
Well done on getting all five photos scrapped too. I like the colours and blocks you've used - and the flamingos are so cheery.
Great layouts! Your mum looks fabulous, and what a great summer you've had!
I love your five and I love how you've scrapped them, you've got such great style x
These soft aqua, creamy whites and pinks just speak volumes about lazy summer days - my favourite (and it was a close call) is the one about how different your summer is this year. I am sure in future you will be pleased to have documented this .
They are really stunning layouts and definitely summer colours! xx
These are all so great - love the layering & all those fantastic patterned papers.
Five great pages and they all look so summery with the colours and embellies you've picked. Can't pick a fave as there all so lovely x
They all look great. I do hope your Mum's hip is better. Like that summertime one especially. #300in30days
