Journal Your Christmas

Journal Your Christmas.  December Daily. Document December. Whatever you want to call it, I love it! I started 9 years ago with Shimelle's JYC and over the years it has become a huge part of my Christmas and my excitement and anticipation for Christmas. This year I am doing a few of Shimelle's prompts, using a kit from Ali Edwards and doing some of my own thing and I've bought Nicole Jones's Document December class!

I've been keeping pretty up to date with it too, only I've forgotten to photograph the pages after the first three!  So here are the first few pages and next weekend when the light is good I will photograph the rest and do a couple of catch up posts.
I'm using a 6x8 album. The white is embossing and the thickets are from Shimelle's collection.
Intro page.
My manifesto or 'reason why' page. This was made with bits from the kit.
Day 1, as it was a work day I knew wouldn't have much to photograph so I used the 2x2 page protector pocket sheet and cut one row of squares off. The top left pocket and the one with tape across it will be shaker pockets once I've had my Fuse tool from Hugh for Christmas!
The back of the day 1 page.
Day 2. Three 3x4 pockets. Using the prompts from an Instagram photo a day for this one! #decemberfamilychallenge
The back of day 2 is day 3. Using one of the stamps from Shimelle's JYC collection.

And that's all I've photographed so far! I promise I will update more pages at the weekend!

It's looking really good. My album is this size too and it feels just right this year.

The combination of red, black and white/cream creates a very stylish foundation and I am most impressed by your nine year commitment! Isn't it so hard to get things photgraphed this time of year?
