Scrapping without a photo in mind

I had the last few pieces of a kit on my desk and decided to just put all the pieces together and then look for a photo - not my usual way of working at all!
I had this selfie which Penny and I took on holiday. I had it printed by Origrami - really good quality prints by the way and quite quick service from Australia! Anyway, back to the layout. I was really pleased with the finished result and the fact that I had 'killed' another kit.

As a technique, it certainly seems to have worked for you on this lovely page

That's an interesting way to work - and you've made a lovely bright page here. Your two smiling faces are the perfect foil.

Sounds like a fun way to finish off a kit. Looks good too - that's a nice photo.

It's not my normal way of working either....but this has turned out perfectly.

Sometimes in the evening I'll sit with my scrap basket while watching TV and just stick paper down without a photo, I love building up a stash of starting point layouts. You did a great job with this one and, if you don't mind, I would love to scraplift it xx

It all goes so well together. You wouldn't think you had done it "back to front" ( I always start with a photo too). Lovely page.

What a cute shot and fabulous page. That's the mark of a well constructed kit, that even the last bits all work together. Well done.
