An adventure Penny calls it. We have driven to the Park and Ride at
Sandon. We normally drive straight into Chelmsford but it is the weekend
of the V Festival and the traffic is awful. We park the car and wander
over to the ticket machine - £5 for the two of us, not much more than
the parking would be in town. We see the bus pull up and hurriedly
insert the coins into the machine, all fingers and thumbs. We want to
get on this bus and not have to wait ten minutes for the next one! The
tickets pop out of the machine and we walk quickly over to the bus,
board it just in time and settle in our seats. The bus pulls off and our
adventure begins.

Lovely start to what I hope was an adventurous day for you both! The photo looks bright and clean and full of promise - I do love the sight of a bus or train. Thank-you so much for joining in this month, and for contributing to the tapestry of all our moments :).
Oh yes I can feel your slight anxiety to catch that particular bus - hope your "adventure" was great fun. A special moment well captured. J x
What can I say except..hurray for adventures!
Sounds like a great adventure and I'm glad you caught the bus :)
I know that feeling of wondering if hurrying up is actually making me move more slowly.

Oh I know that feeling of having to hurry to catch the bus or in our case train - we do that often when we take the metrolink train into St. Louis for ballgames. So much easier than driving into the mayhem. Glad you made it.
Glad you managed to catch the bus and get a seat!
