Hedgehog Rescue

Last night Ben was on his way to visit his girlfriend when he spotted an injured hedgehog. I was standing at the kitchen sink and saw him walk into the backgarden and into the garage - 'oh, that's Ben carrying a hedgehog' I thought - as you do. 'A hedgehog!'. We rushed outside to see the poor little thing. It had injured its back leg so we put it into one of the cat baskets and gave it a bowl of cat food and water. It was extremely hungry and wolfed down the food.

Hugh then spent about half an hour phoning hedgehog rescue places to find one local to us. Eventually we found one in Orsett and Hugh and Penny took it over there. They think that it has injured its hip, but will nurse it back to health.
