A little misunderstanding

‘Untle Ooh (Uncle Hugh), could I have a cigarette please?’ asked Emily (five at the end of August). The whole room fell silent. All eyes turned to Emily, horrified. No one answered as we were all totally shocked.
What do you want a cigarette for?’ thundered her Mummy, Pippa.
‘To wipe my mouth’ said a little voice sheepishly.
The room erupted in laughter.
‘You mean a serviette’ we all said in chorus, breathing a sigh of relief.
From now on, serviettes are to be known as cigarettes in our family!

Bet that brought conversation to a standstill. It's really funny the things they come out with and usually when too.

Love the fact that you have it recorded -something for when she turns 18 or 21 I think. Great photo
