Vindaloo!

Well, no actually, it was Vindolanda near Haltwhistle in Northumberland, but we spent the whole holiday calling it vindaloo and singing that dreadful football song from 1998 with Fat Les!
However, with that song now going round and round in your head (probably only if you are English though, I doubt if my friends across the sea have heard it before!) please have a look at my layout below!

I was pleased to find the ribbon amongst my stash, as I had forgotten that I had it! I again dug deep into the depths of RUB's and came up with some older papers. I am looking forward to having a play with my new Sarah's Cards Kits soon - I haven't touched June and July's yet, but the colours look great for my holiday.
I punched out some small butterflies with my Martha Stewart punch and stuck them to the ribbon for a bit more detail.

The letters for the title were actually rub ons, which I rubbed onto card and then cut out individually. However, having done all of that they didn't show up very well, so I outlined them in black. I am quite pleased with the result.

I would just like to add here that I think what is going on in England at the moment is absolutely dreadful and unneccessary. I have close family and some friends in the Met police and I am keeping them all in my thoughts as they have to deal with these dreadful people. It is a scary time here at the moment - let's hope the Government can bring some sense and order back.

The outlined rubons look brilliant :) A real designery touch to a great page about one of my favourite places to visit

I like what you've done with the rubons too...and yes, I am humming 'Vindaloo' to myself now! Hope your family and friends stay safe
