Scrapbook Starting Points

I haven't taken part in Shimelle's Starting Points before, but decided to have a go over the weekend - I got a lot of crafting done on Sunday, which I was really pleased with! I scrabbled about in the bag containing the bits left over from making my 6x4 Photo Love page for this month and used all the off cuts to make this page:
In the tradition of scrapbookers the world over I hoarded tickets from all the places we visited. It was only as we visited our third government run tourist attraction that I realised that they used the same ticket for all the attractions! However, at least this one has been stamped with 'Paphos Castle' and the date - many of the others haven't!

Later in the week I will share with you my 6x4 photo love layout for August, which uses the papers above and more of my Cyprus photos. I am loving these papers - they are Bo Bunny. The 'o' in 'of' is actually a magnet which was part of a present from Ben - he did say to me when he gave it to me that he expected I wouldn't use it on a memo board and he expected to see it on a layout! There are about 6 more of them to use up!

I keep meaning to take part one weekend, and seeing your take on the sketch, I think I will, really soon. You made me smile at the ticket, yup it's certainly a scrapbookers obsession, keeping things, but hey look how handy they come :)

Great way to use up all your leftovers.

Yep, I'm a terrible hoarder of bits and pieces - leaflets and tickets especially. You have got me thinking about pulling some of them out and using them on a couple of pages..

Although I recently "cleaned" it out, I have a whole drawer of lovely bits and pieces that should be used up! I love the way you used the magnet.

Your LO is really pretty, and the magnet matches perfectly, your son really does know you well!

Neat use of the magnet. Sounds like Ben really knows his Mum. :)
