This layout is based on Shimelle's starting points from a few weeks back, here, using striped paper as a background paper. I have to say that I would never have used it as a background paper, thinking that it would be too busy, but I think it works quite well. I don't normally like photos of me in my swimsuit either, but I do like this one!
The next two layouts make a double page spread, of which I have a few dotted through my Cyprus album. I haven't based this on anyone elses layout or sketch - a genuine Becky lol! The papers are ones from a Sarah's Card kit which I had left over and were perfect for our walk in the forest. The label under the title I made using my new Distress Inks - I had fun playing with them.

The final layout I did over my long weekend is this one:
I stuck the letter stickers onto card, cut them out and then raised them using foam tape to give them a bit more 'oomph'. I don't know what the blue and gold patterened paper is, it has been in my stash for about 3 years and I came across it when I was having a dig through and I thought it was perfect for this layout! It had no strip on though and nothing printed on the back, so I am none the wiser. I used my Cricut to cut out the flowers, having first stamped some cardstock with a random word stamp and then used my distress inks again.
Well, thank you for looking - it was a bit of a mammoth post! If you have got to the bottom, well done!

Wow, some great layouts Becky! I really like the flowers on that last one, I'll have to remember to use some of my word stamps first next time I cut some with my Cricut.
Some great LOs,Becky......I particularly like the first one.....I'd have never thought of using stripes as a background either.....but it works brilliantly.

Wow, I love all of them. I like how you used the shaped paper for the journaling. I've not thought of doing that. The label and the patterned paper behind it are very effective.
