I hardly ever make Christmas cards. However, as you probably know, I meet up about once a month with three friends and we spend the evening scrapbooking and/or cardmaking. December's meet will be at my house and we have a Secret Santa swap all organised and Penny will be making some festive cakes. So I thought that I really ought to at least make cards for these three friends even if I have bought cards for everyone else! In the end, what really inspired me to get card making, was Sian's post here and her wonderful snowflake card. I dropped a comment on the post asking if she would mind if I copied her idea and she replied that she wouldn't mind, so here are my cards (and thanks Sian!):
I have to admit that I did go to my local scrapbooking shop and buy a new snowflake embossing folder and whilst I was there the snowman punch just happened to fall into my basket too (well it was half price and it would have been rude to leave it behind!). The snowflake border punch is one I picked up half price last Christmas and haven't used much. I love this look of white on white - it is really pretty. I am thinking of using the snowman as part of my JYC date 'block' - I am going to have a play this evening and see what I come up with.

They look great and of course you couldn't leave that snowman behind - he needed someone to love him.
Gosh, that was quick lol! I was imagining you storing the idea away for next year, don't know why!
I've had things fall into my cart sometimes, too! LOL
