Celebrating...

being migraine free! Yes, I will celebrate the fact that after 3 horrible days last week and then a recovery day yesterday, I am at last over my migraine! I am going to make an appointment to see the GP again, as the neurologist was not very helpful - the medication he put me on was definitely not right for me and when I went back to see him he was not sympathetic in the slightest and said if I didn't take that medication there was nothing else he could do for me! As the medication made me so tired all the time and had some other horrible side effects I really couldn't carry on with it. Hoping that the GP can suggest another route!

As a result, I didn't really do any scrapping over the weekend. I did have a play with a new Cricut cartridge - Going Places - and made some little envelopes with 'thank you' cards in to leave the tips in in the hotels when we go to California. I will photograph them later in the week to share with you.

Glad you are feeling better - I get very occasional migraines so can sympathise. Lets hope the doctor can suggest something new to try.

There is definitely more than one preventative medication, so it is worth persevering. My sister has finally found a sympathetic GP who is trying lots of different ones for her. Yes, it's a family weakness here.

I'm so glad you are feeling better and I hope you are enjoying that slight high you get when it finally goes away :)

Glad to hear you're feeling better today. I woke up with a headache this morning and thought I might be getting ill, but a whole lot of rest today has helped a lot!

I'm so sorry you have to suffer through these. One of my best friends has suffered from migraines for years. One would hope someone could find some kind of medication that would be more helpful.
