Wear Crafts 13 in 13 Kit for March

The latest kit from Wear Crafts had some wonderful MME papers in. I stuck mostly to Jennifer's instructions for the main layout, although I did not stick the ribbon down the left side as I couldn't get it to stick (!) and instead of three journalling cards down the left I used another Miss Smith polaroid embellishment as my third block. I do like making these - very calming!

And here is a close up of the polaroid embellishment.

And a close up of the journalling.

Jennifer had also sent me a few additional pages to showcase some other papers that she sells. This layout was made with papers by Magenta, who I have to admit, I hadn't heard of before. They are lovely papers and I was able to come up with this.
The leaves were cut out of one of the sheets of paper and fitted in really well with the autumn theme of this layout. I based this on Shimelle's sketch 10, using arrows and although I only put in one strip of arrows I like the effect it gave. I also remembered to get my stamps out again and used some word ones and little stars.
I have one more layout from main the kit to share with you, but it isn't quite finished yet!

Love the photos on the rope swing - sounds like our family. I think there are going to be a lot of muddy photos this spring.

Those Polaroid frames remind me of the slide frames that were popular so many years ago. Nice way of collecting together lots of bits and pieces.

The rope swing sounds great fun! Ours always loved finding places to swing too. Your Polaroid embellishment is very pretty with all those layers and a perfect match for the tones of the photo. Looks like a great kit that you'll enjoy using.

Fabulous work again! Just FBd it, blogged it and pinned it! I glued my ribbon with Tombow. I popped a stripe down the side and left it to go tacky for a few seconds. Then I 'rouched' (is that a word!?!) and stuck about an inch at a time, holding it down firmly and counting to about 30 lol each time! I have used double sided tape to hold down ribbon before but I prefer my Tombow. I also have a xyron sticker maker thing which I run ribbon through to make it sticky but that does not allow much movement - once it is on, it is on! The Tombow lets me wriggle it around and fold it till I am happy. I sometime use the rounded ends of pencils to hold the sections in place as I glue so I don't get too sticky. You could gather it with running stitch and then glue it down. I will pop some more ribbon in your next parcel so you can have another go with it. Thanks for sharing - your work is great, jenx
