Another Death Valley layout

I seem to be using the same basic page layout for the 'first' page of each part of our journey, where I stick the map of our route and I like the continuity it is giving my album.
The Death Valley sticker is actually a car window sticker which we bought from a gift shop (Hugh spotted it and suggested I get it for the album!). It is translucent, but I like the fact that you can see the patterned paper beneath it.
This journalling card has been in my stash forever! it was a bit big, but by cutting it down it filled the gap perfectly.
And of course, as in all my California pages, I have to put a camera somewhere!

Golly, that IS hot! Your DH is clearly a covert scrapper in the making :). Very effective design for showcasing lots of photos - no point in reinventing the wheel, as Cathy Zielske would say!

Both this and your "under the sea" layout are great. They do a great job of capturing the area. I like using similar page designs in my books.
I like the sense of continuity they provide.

I like that you are adding the same touches to pages to give the album continuity. I could never be that consistent. Great colors on this page too.

It looks great and I like the idea of the continuity throughout the album. 106 - yikes!

I like seeing the maps and agree they add a sense of continuity. Isn't it fun when the family get involved with creating the album by pointing things out during the trip? Looks like such an amazing trip too.
