Weekend Roundup

This weekend I have:

Been shopping with Penny.
Helped Penny book a flight ticket to Canada to Torronto to visit Conbravo in Hamilton in July - eek! She will be travelling all alone - my baby!
Been to a good friend's 50th birthday party.
Taken in our hallway just before we left for the party
Got lots of chores done.
Done a fair bit of walking (update later in the week).

Enjoyed the sunshine.
Watched Hugh mowing the grass.
Skyped with Ben.
And spent Sunday afternoon in the conservatory scrapping!
I got three layouts done - one double page and one single. I'll share the double page later this week, but for now, here is the single page.
This is totally inspired by this week's Glitter Girl episode. I thoroughly enjoyed getting inky and using my stencil to create the border around the matted photos. I then dug out lots of stamps and had fun with them too!
This used up most of the Studio Calico kit I had bought second hand from UKScrappers, so when I finished this layout I distributed the bits I had left to the appropriate containers and got rid of the box and called this kit done!

Gosh, could be high summer! That's a lovely photo of you :). All that and a pretty scrapbooking page to boot? Looks like a fruitful weekend!

You look lovely and definitely ready for a party - hope it was fun. Lots going on but all of it sounds good. I like the stencils, haven't watched most of the glitter girl episodes but you keep reminding me of them which helps :)

Oh my, green grass! We've yet to have a big enough thaw to see any grass in our yard, and the weather man is predicting 6-12 inches of new snow on Wednesday. I certainly hope he's wrong. You and Hugh look fabulous!

Sounds like a great weekend! The photo of you and Hugh before the party is really nice, and I love your layout! Doug mowed our lawn this past weekend too, but that's not a rare occurrence. ;o)

What a lovely looking layout! Congrats to Penny for this new adventure. No lawn mowing here just yet - we still have snow on the ground. I'd hoped it would be gone when we got back but....
