Jennifer's Frosty Festivities

Jennifer Grace at Jennifer Grace Creates, is holding her Frosty Festivities blog event this weekend. Do hop on over to see all the wonderful things she and her guest bloggers have created.

I will probably be posting more frequently over the next few days as I complete projects inspired by the event and because I AM ON HOLIDAY! Yes, no work for me for a WEEK! So looking forward to it! Hugh is also off for the week, so we are going to leisurely do some jobs around the house, visit my Mum and Dad and go out for a couple of meals.

So, what has inspired me so far? Well, Jennifer created this decoration, but what inspired me from it was to use glitter through a stencil, using modge podge. I didn't want to make a decoration, but used the idea on this layout.
I used a dotty stencil I had and some blue glitter. I love the effect and will definitely be doing this again!
I love how it is nice and glittery, but at the same time you get even more texture from the modge podge.,

Off to have another look at her blog to see what else inspires me!

What a cool idea that is. Call me mad, but I brought Mod Podge back from Florida because it was half the price. It might be time to crack that bottle open
