Scrapping my five favourites

So following on from choosing my five favourite photos from January I scrapped three layouts to get them off my phone.
This layout and the following ones were made using my 'Hey Girl' kit from Noel Mignon.
I love that this paper is just like paint samples! Perfect for a layout all about our decorating this year.
I liked that one of the embellishments in this kit was the spectacles - they look just like Penny's!

This last layout was made with the previous kit 'Cable Knit'.
I dripped some gold mist onto the flower, which I deconstructed so that it would look like snowflakes, but the effect wasn't brilliant. However, I am pleased with the overall look of this layout. I had to use some of my own letters for this one as I didn't have the right ones left in the kit!

So, thank you Jo, for your brilliant idea and I look forward to sharing my February five faves at the beginning of March.

I bet you couldn't believe it when that paint sample paper came out of the box!

isn't that black alpha brilliant? I've used it on about three projects since I got it in a kit

Great pages, I have that same background paper on your first layout, and wondered how to use it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great job! That paint sample paper is perfect for the remodeling layout! (I just finished my 5th January layout with 7 hours left in the month! LOL)

Brilliant paper - I thought at first glance you'd painted it yourself! Great use of the bits in the kit, and a serendipitous pair of glasses. Glad her laptop is sorted :). Bet you'll be pleased when all this remodelling is done?

Wonderful paper - I too thought it was one you had created.

I like that snowflake page. We haven't had any snow yet.
