Three layouts to share

Quite a while back I made up a kit with bits and pieces I had and made one layout from it and then promptly forgot I had made it! Whilst looking through my stash the other day I rediscovered it and decided to use it to make some layouts. It is a real mish mash of manufacturers and includes some of Shimelle's line.
The first two layouts will be a double page spread about Ben moving into his new house last year. By the time I have got around to scrapping about this event he is just about ready to move out as the lease has run out and he is moving again! Oh well, that will give me more to scrap about!

When I was doing this last layout I wanted some blue patterned paper which I didn't have in the kit, so I raided my stash and found this shaped piece which is ages old! I was really pleased to use it up!
The funny thing with some of the embellishments in this pack is that I bought them for the holiday in 2013 as the forecast for the week had not been good and most of them seem to be about rain, rainbows, always look on the bright side of life etc, and then each holiday we have had in the UK the weather has been fine and I have not been able to use them lol! Anyway, I managed to find enough ones about sun to complete this layout.

Nice job. It's always nice to be able to find the type of piece need when you go stash-diving.

Even though he's on the move again, I am sure he will always be glad you took photos and recorded House No 1. Is there a badge for A Prolific Scrapper? I think you really deserve one :).

Alexa has got there before me! She has said exactly what I was going to say, and perfectly.

I really like that shaped piece. You just never know when something you have will be the perfect thing.
