Holiday layouts

So holiday layouts - to my American friends I don't mean Christmas, but vacation! I pulled a few photos from our holiday in Wales and Crete last year and grabbed papers which have been on my desk for a while. I like this cloud paper with these view photos taken from and looking down to the cottage in Wales.
With the main paper being quite busy and wanting to use lots of embellishments I decided to go with plain white card stock as the background. I haven't done that for a while and like the effect.
And this final layout, back in Wales is a scrap lift from one in a Shimelle class I took.  I enjoyed getting out my heart punches and stamp and getting three photos on one page!
This weekend we have been celebrating Penny's birthday. I will be back later in the week with some photos from that. Hope you are having a relaxing weekend!

Waving to you today Becky. I love white cardstock for a LO. I'm in awe that you get this done.

These look great! The cloud paper does work perfect on that first one, but I especially like how happy all of these are filled with color!

I like the contrast between the cloud photo paper and the white cardstock. Hope you've had fun celebrating Penny.

Many happy returns of the day to Penny! You have been busy, as usual ... I do like the cloud effect behind those Brecon photos, though as a clean and simple girl I am always delighted when someone discovers the delights of plain white cardstock :). Doesn't it make everything pop?

Oh, I really like that second one with all those words - it looks perfect for those pictures. Had to laugh at your describing what holiday is - here in Canada we use holiday and vacation interchangeably. One of those things with British heritage and proximity to the U.S.
