Spotlight Saturday - Some scrapbooking!

Just a quick blog post today - it's been so hot that I've come in from work every day and collapsed exhausted! It's also been too hot to do any scrapbooking as I do it in the conservatory, but I have used the time instead to catch up on some reading. However, I have 4 layouts to share with you which I created a couple of weeks ago.

This one I had loads of fun with! I used a stencil and embossing paste to create some dots and then added loads of brads to mimic the M&M's! I also used some pieces from a serviette I brought back wtih me.
This is a companion layout to the one above. I am really enjoying going through my stash and putting page kits together and this is one of those page kits.
This actually used up the last of my paper and embellishments from this collection. I bought this collection in 2012 to document our Silver Wedding Anniversary trip to theStates and it was great to use it up on a layout about Ben and Penny.
And finally a fairly simple layout, but again using up some scraps and a doily which had been lying around on my desk for an age!

Today is my birthday and I am going with the family for a treat - more on that next weekend!

I have clearly missed your birthday, but am sending you many happy returns and very best wishes for the year ahead :). What a splendid set of pages - I love that quote about a smile and you certainly have two beautiful ones there.

They are all really great pages. I need to make some page kits, I think I'll be more productive if I do that x
