Spotlight Saturday - Spotlight on Take That!

I've not been to many concerts in my life - in fact I can count on one hand the number I've been to! My biggest concert was Take That back in 2011which I went to with my sister and her friends. We had a great time and Take That were fantastic.
Me with my sister's friends and the stage - 2011
So when Wendy suggested on our Christmas meal that perhaps she, Sue and I go to see Take That on their Wonderland Tour in 2017 I jumped at the chance, as did Sue! Three very expensive tickets and six months later we arrived at the O2 for the concert.
We arrived early to make sure we weren't held up by security too badly (which we weren't and it was very good and after recent events we didn't mind the heightened security in the slightest). We decided to grab a bite to eat at a Brazilian restaurant where they did the most delicious coconut coleslaw! After our meal we had time to waste so just had a walk around the O2, people watching and having fun together.
Wendy as Gary and Robbie and Wendy and Sue as Star Wars Characterss!
At about 6pm we arrived at our entrance and didn't have to wait long before they opened the doors and we went through the next security measures. The doors to the arena still weren't open but we were able to have a comfort stop and buy a £3 bottle of water to take in with us.
The doors finally opened at 7pm. We were high up! Only one row of seats behind us!

The support act came on at 7.30pm and was All Saints. They were really good and we had a good time listening and singing along. And then after an interval Take That finally came on!

They were absolutely fantastic. Not only can they sing well but they are really good performers and put on such a fantastic show.

We were all standing up, dancing as much as we were able and singing loudly to all the songs!
Their encore was my favourite of theirs - Rule the World. To finish here is just a 15 seconds clip of the song. Absolutely brilliant.

What an amazing time you seem to have had! (Though I'd have had to be bolted to my seat if I was that high up). Glad it was as good as the first one.

You were brave getting up and dancing in those high seats, I've been up there and was worried that I'd fall. My friend plays golf with one of Take That so he was at their concert and said it was amazing x
